Long Live the American Dream

Hope was reinstall in many Americans tonite as Obama and Biden were elected into the White House. We voted for what we needed, and what is necessary--Change. With change comes progression, forward thinking, and a optimistic perspective. All three concepts marks a moment in history that proves we are ready for a new era and a new leader.

On a personal note, I kept thinking "Long Live the American Dream" because it reminded me the thought that my parents instilled in me while growing up. The thought was their journey coming from another country into America to live the dream. The dream to work, to have a voice in democracy, and to provide a better future for their children. Throughout the past years there might have been mistakes from all around the corners-from your own choices, to local government, all the way to the White House. That process over time makes you lose sight the dream and grow a disbelief in politics. Perhaps it makes you feel that you cant really make all that of a difference, that's how I felt. But all that has been put to rest.

Our voice was heard today.

It proven that the American Dream still exists because people like you and me can make a difference. Simply if we don't like it, we can change it.
