As I'm sure MANY of you have heard, the Coraline Movie, a tale written by Neil Gaiman, is set to release February 6th (yay!) and aside from it being a 3-D motion picture (which is always fun since I looove fantasy and animation) and directed by Henry Selick (who also directed two of my favs: James and the Giant Peach and The Nightmare Before Christmas), it also celebrates LAIKA Studio's first full-length film.
So, why the big hoohah over the film? Well, LAIKA's vision is "fueled" by Phil Knight which is exactly why Nike teamed up with the studio to create an awesome marketing tool to promote the film (thanks to creative geniuses Rob Heppler and Gian Galang) - limited Coraline Dunks!
I'd blab on about it, but almost every site has given much information about the movie and shoe that I wouldn't want to take any credit for the information I've just presented to you all lol, so make sure you click on their names to find out more about movie details, shoe release info, special codes, etc!
However, just to give you a taste and look of the Coraline Dunks, I'll present you with images from some of my friends who were fortunate enough to receive these bad boys (I believe all these guys got the "prop" sets)!
Jeff/Staple: Prop Set Box
Mark/Fatlace: Tree Shot
Wendy/Nitrolicious
*Also, make sure to watch the end of the movie for the credits so that you too can win these kicks!
