a couple of weeks ago I went to a Beauty Trend show at Nordstrom in Topanga Mall with my mom. Although my mom and I have different tastes, she is still my #1 shopping buddy and can somehow find things that I always seem to miss whenever we are out shopping. Here are some highlights from our fun outing...:-)
7:30 am and the line was already wrapped around the building. This is serious!

As soon as the doors opened women ran up to the 2nd floor to get good seats. Luckily I suffered no injuries....this time.
I bet you'd never skip this important meal if it came tied up in a bow every morning :-)

And then as soon as the show ended everyone ran back downstairs to get made-up, made over, facialed, spackled and sprinkled...lol...Makeup makes me giddy, especially surrounded by other fanatics. My mom and I headed to Shu Uemura (invest in Shu's eyelash curler) after I saw a model on the runway with the exact bronzy summery glistening cheek look I've been striving for.
And that's the end. Nordie's events are fun, we've also gone to their fragrance event. We can't wait till there Fall Beauty Trend show. The tickets are $15, but that goes completely towards a purchase of your choosing, so there's nothing to lose! These are also great events to buy gifts at since there are added giveaways and exclusive specials. Something for you and your someone special :-)
