May the Best Woman Win [Part II]

My retail therapy session continued onto the weekend, where I was joined by one of my best friends, Janice....

3/1 Saturday:
We attended our first ever Billion Dollar Babes sale. Billion Dollar Babes (BDB) have really mastered how to throw an ultra-luxe Sample Sale. The BDB sale I went to this past Saturday is a much smaller and intimate affair compared to their bigger events where they can host 40+ Designers under one big roof. In this particular sale it exclusively introduced a new designer, for me at least, Bensoni.

Overall, BDB sample sales are as organized as one sale can get. They have dressing rooms, which saved me from having to find an indiscreet corner to strip down in. Clothes were also very well organized on the racks, with prices clearly shown on signs tacked above each rack on the wall.Further enhancing the event, they also served Mimosas and Champagne, but sadly no one was drinking, so we decided not to grab any glasses.

**Check out the BDB website to find out what other exciting perks and freebies are offered at their sales, as well as upcoming events.

**Sample Sale Tips:
For less organized affairs, do yourself a favor and wear a loose dress, leggings, and slip-on shoes. Anything that will allow you to quickly get in and out of since most sample sales don't have dressing rooms. You also want to do your best not to flash anyone since it's not uncommon for guys to accompany their girlfriend or wives. However, guys do make great shopping bags, while your hands are kept free to quickly grab more items, before it gets snatched up by someone else.

3/2 Sunday:
Went to Target to check out the Jovovich-Hawk Line in person. For the most part I liked it. Many embellished details made seemingly ordinary basics extra special. The denim seersuckers were too thin for my liking, reminding me that I was shopping the cheaper version of the real thing. But the floral/ruffled bikini that I've had my eye on (see *Right on Target) is just as pretty in person as it is in the ad. In the weeks to come I'll make an effort to check out other Targets to see the different pieces they are carrying.

So what did you all think?
